The tide gauge at Palmer station is an Endeco model 1152, soon to be replaced
by an Aanderaa.
The problen causing data gaps is in a malfunctioning conductivity sensor.
Apart from that, SST and water level sensors are still functioning.
Data are recorded at 10-minute intervals.

The gauge has been running since January 1992 with some data gaps.
