For the enhancement of exchanges between countries involved in scientific explorations in the Antarctica and the promotion of GIS database construction in King George Island by scientists worldwide, this workshop is organized on the two themes of
1. GIS work on King George Island , and
2. Internet GIS - technology and reality.
