O'Higgins Permanent GLONASS Observatory Site

History and Details of O'Higgins site:

DOMES Number: 66008M004.

This ASHTECH Z 18 GPS + GLONASS system operates since 09-FEB-2001, 01:00 UT. In addition and parallel to the OHIG GPS Permanent Tracking System (AOA SNR-8000 ACT or ROGUE SNR-8000).

The System is a stand-alone-system during the long Antarctic winter. Only for VLBI-Observation-Sessions operators travel to O'Higgins during the short Antarctic "Summer".
